Where ReVanced updates are published
Three sources cover almost everything:
- The ReVanced GitHub, which carries official releases for both Manager and patches
- The ReVanced Discord and subreddit, where new releases get discussed and problems surface early
- ReVanced Manager itself, which checks for updates on its own
What to watch for
- The recommended YouTube base version changes periodically. Patch against the version Manager suggests, not whatever your phone happens to have installed.
- Patches come and go: new ones get added and old ones get deprecated as YouTube changes.
- GmsCore (MicroG) releases matter if you sign in with a Google account, since login depends on it.
- A major Manager release sometimes means you have to re-patch your app.
Common update questions
Not always. Manager updates and patch updates are separate things. Re-patch only when new patches interest you or a compatibility problem forces it.
When you select YouTube for patching, Manager shows the recommended version. Stick with that one; other versions may fail to patch cleanly.
Wait for updated patches, then re-patch against the new recommended base version. The ReVanced GitHub lists which versions are currently supported.
