Where Are Official ReVanced Sources?
The ReVanced project maintains its releases through GitHub. The official repositories include:
ReVanced Manager - The main user-facing patching app
ReVanced Patches - The modification patches
GmsCore - The Google account helper for non-root
ReVanced CLI - Command-line patching tools
Users should navigate to the official ReVanced GitHub organization to find these repositories and their release pages.
How to Verify a Source
Check that the GitHub repository belongs to the official ReVanced organization
Look for the repository's star count and contributor activity
Verify APK signatures match known official signatures
Check the release date and version against known release history
Read the repository's README and documentation
Red Flags for Fake ReVanced Pages
Websites offering "prebuilt ReVanced APKs" (ReVanced is designed to be patched locally)
Sites claiming to be "official ReVanced download"
Pages with aggressive download buttons and excessive advertising
Version numbers that don't match any official release
Requests for unnecessary permissions during download
The Difference Between Manager and Prebuilt APKs
ReVanced's official model is Manager-based patching. The user downloads ReVanced Manager, provides a base app, and patches it locally. Any site distributing ready-to-install "ReVanced YouTube APKs" is not following the official approach.
Frequently Asked Questions
ReVanced Manager is an APK, but the patched app is built locally on your device. The project does not distribute prebuilt modified YouTube APKs.
ReVanced is an open-source community project. The Manager, patches, and tools are free to use.
